Alyson M. Casagrande is the founder of End Mean Girl Culture Movement Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to ending bullying, relational aggression, and emotional harm among girls, teens, and women.
Born and raised in Yonkers, Alyson experienced profound loss early in life after losing her father at just two months old. Raised by her mother and grandparents, she developed a deep sense of empathy, resilience, and compassion—qualities that would later shape her life’s mission.
Alyson’s mission is rooted in lived experience.
From a young age, she endured relational aggression, exclusion, and emotional bullying—often from girls she trusted. These experiences followed her from adolescence into adulthood, impacting her mental health, confidence, and sense of belonging.
Instead of allowing that pain to define her, Alyson made a decision:
to turn her story into a solution for others.
Today, she is committed to helping girls and women feel seen, supported, and protected—so no one has to suffer in silence the way she once did.
Alyson received her sacraments at Sacred Heart Parish and graduated from The Ursuline School in New Rochelle, New York. She went on to attend Pace University, where she built a strong academic foundation.
Her early career included roles at leading companies such as Ameriprise Financial and IBM, where she gained experience in business operations, systems thinking, and organizational structure.
After relocating to Sarasota, Alyson adapted her career path into customer-focused roles—experiences that deepened her understanding of workplace dynamics, leadership gaps, and the real-world impact of bullying behavior among women.
Despite changing environments, the bullying did not stop.
From school to the workplace, Alyson continued to experience exclusion, sabotage, and emotional harm, even from those in leadership positions. In 2024, after facing ongoing mistreatment in yet another work environment, she reached a breaking point.
That moment became a turning point.
She chose to stop surviving—and start leading change.
Alyson founded End Mean Girl Culture Movement Inc. to address what she recognized as a widespread, underreported crisis:
bullying and relational aggression among girls and women.
Her mission is to:
Raise awareness about female-to-female bullying
Provide education and prevention programs
Support mental health and emotional well-being
Create safe reporting systems and accountability structures
Using her background from IBM, Alyson developed a confidential Incident Reporting System designed for schools, workplaces, and organizations.
This system allows individuals to:
Report bullying incidents (anonymously if needed)
Track patterns of harmful behavior
Create accountability within institutions
Ensure victims are heard and protected
This technology-driven solution is a critical step toward systemic change in bullying prevention.
Bullying is not just a childhood issue—it is a national mental health and workplace crisis.
Research shows that:
A significant percentage of women experience bullying from other women
Workplace bullying leads to anxiety, burnout, and lost opportunities
Young girls face increasing levels of cyberbullying and social exclusion
Alyson’s work is focused on breaking this cycle at every level of society.
What makes Alyson’s work unique is that she has built this movement from the ground up—independently, with limited resources, and driven entirely by purpose.
Her lived experience is not just part of her story—it is the foundation of her leadership.
“I reached a point where I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to stand up—not just for myself, but for every girl and woman going through the same thing.”
Alyson is actively working with:
